Yeah, not so much.

Ammunition is actually pretty tame in a fire, campfire games included. Standard turnout gear is completely up to the task. A safe will even contain things further.

Ditto.

My most fired gun now is a Beeman P1 air pistol. It's a bit more advanced than the Daisy's, Crosman's, Sheridan's, and Benjamin's of my youth but it's still a "pellet gun." So yes, full circle here...

Like they say...

If it's a stupid idea...but it works. It's not a stupid idea.

Plus since you use the clip and not tape you won't have to shave your ankle. That would be unsavory.

SIG P365 10-round magazine amd double mag pouch

I am selling a SIG P365 10-round magazine with the pinky extension. It is almost new. It came with my P365 and I put enough rounds through it (about 20) to realize there wasn't quite enough extension...

Upon further research...

OK, seems I made an assumption that isn't true after all.

My original thought was; why would you seek out the smallest, double-stack, full-capacity, 9mm, semi-auto and then make it bigger. There...

Hemi Prius

I think I'll buy a Toyota Prius and put a Hemi in it. That would make more sense than a SIG P365XL.

Now an "original flavor" P365 with 10+1 in the gun and 12X2 on the off-hand side? That makes...

Fleet Farm

Doghawg, I noticed you are also from the Glorious Dairy State. I actually saw a Ruger Officer in the gun case at the Appleton Fleet Farm. I have no idea if they are currently stocking them as this...

452 vs 457

I believe the front sight is dovetailed in on my daughters' guns. But bear in mind theirs are the older 452's. The current 457's look like they are screwed on.

Scout 452 close enough?

I bought a pair of CZ 452 Scouts for my twin daughters when they were about 12 or so. They loved them. Guns came with solid plastic single-shot adapters that I replaced with 5-rounders a few years...

Yes, there is the manual-safety version. There is also now an XL version with longer grip and slide. There is also a 15-round magazine for both.

Thumbs up for Selway

Looks like they have the lowest price on the 12-rounders as well.

I had an Alessi Bodyguard

I loved my Alessi Bodyguard. It had wide soft straps that spread the load. I adjusted it to sit as high into my armpit as possible while still allowing me to don and (doff?) remove it easily. This...

SIG P365 Trigger

I'll start with a few caveats. I've not fired the XDS so I can't compare the two directly. I also don't have a trigger pull gauge so I can only speak subjectively.

I'll start off with saying that...

I hear you Exhog.

And Glocks do to a degree live up to their nickname of "Blocks." But there are a couple things working against the S&W, none of which have to do with their quality.

1) I have large enough hands...

Tinkerer's Paradise.

If you really want to fiddle with a gun for five years or so trying to get it to run right, get the 3.5" barrel compact size.

I know, I know; yours ran great.

Mine didn't.

Just sayin.'

I need to shut my mouth.

Tom got back to me right away. He said I could return the incorrect mag pouch and he'd start making the correct one right away.

Seriously

I'd drop the magazine every time just to be sure. Might have to stencil "BB" in bright orange letters on both sides of the slide.

I swear if SIG makes a .22 conversion for the P365 I don't know...

Completely agree on a second for training

But I will be looking into these when they come out later this year. MSRP supposedly of around $100.

Now I feel like a bit of a tool. Guess what just appeared in my mailbox this morning. I waited forever before making that post because I wanted to give them every chance. If I'd only waited one more...

I'll "third" that.

The hate for this pistol is almost comical.

If you have an issue with your Sig P365 why haven't you sent it back to Sig for repair or replacement? My understanding is that they are quick to do...

OK, maybe it's time I "out" them.

Two to three years ago I ordered some leather gear from an certain manufacturer. I didn't receive the gear in a timely manner so I called/emailed to ask. I was told "a week" yet never received the...
