If you want something to prolong the life, waterproof, and keep the leather pliable use this. I use this on leather saddles, bridles, and hunting boots. I wouldn't use it on a high quality holster...

Soft (quality) holsters are not good holsters. Wipe them down with Renaissance wax.

They will still be light years softer than Kydex holsters.

My experience is that ethanol gas degrades very quickly. High octane fuel, even with ethanol in it, treated with either Sta-Bil or Sea Foam has been working for me in chain saws and weed eaters.
