I had the same issue with my Guardian in 45acp....

I had the same issue with my Guardian in 45acp. Put a Wolff spring in lock up problem went away.

I have two of those pocket lites one stainless one black. Bought them back in the 90's great little guns. Stopped carrying them since I got the sig p938 almost the same size but 9mm.

The D M Bullard rig has a cant to it so the pistol is not pointed at your leg while sitting or standing, never tried appendix carry, don't like the idea of the gun pointing right at your privates.

The P938 is a great carry gun duriing the summer, removing the ambi safety from mine was the first thing I did. Trigger is good enough to shoot accuratly.
Carry a DW guardian during colder weather.

my guardian would jam at first with hollow points, but only the first round off the top of the mag, the other seven would feed fine. talked to dan wesson and they suggested to put some more rounds...

I like the guardian for a carry gun, a little lighter its been accurate and reliable.
never a problem with ball ammo but had to run about 500 rounds through it before it would feed hollow points...
