Good to read I am not the only person feeling this way. My late issues Repro 70, 73B serial number, is black/blued with stainless barrel, like the pistol but not so much it's barrel.

Nice! Gotta love it when new pistols are treated right during break in. Your barrel looks normal as well. Keep everything clean, clean, clean for 500 rds. and it will perform as intended. Congrads!

Both my A2's have a tiny, tiny dab of blue locktite with no issues so far. Standard 1911 screws will work.
