A completely waterproof hat that will stand bad weather is a must. And the full legnth slicker is easy to sweep to draw from.

Hi Shelley, chances are that the marks u have pointed to are directly above the mag catch cut out slots in the magazine? It is not uncommon for a handgun stored to need a light oil on the mag release...
