With that serial number range it would be a government model. Or a super match. A super match is very scarce so it probably is not that. But it would be marked.

I took out the assemblys and duel spring set up out of my shooter Colt M45A1. Old scool stuff seems to work just fine for me. But its well broken in now.

A 1952 would be sweet. But for 2,000 it better be pretty nice. I had a near perfect 1962. Wish i still had it. I never shot it. Mine was all OEM parts. Good luck with it.

Try using Break Free CLP and some XXXX steelwool. That should take care of it. The extractor needs adjusted too. Send it back to Colt for adjustmvent.

Its a wilson mag. Go to their website. Look for the description of your gun then choose magazines for it. They may offer just 1 basepad for your gun with that magazine. The baseplates are swapable....
