If I remember correctly, the round is stripped from the mag as the slide moves rearward not while returning to battery. Interesting design, always thought of them as "vaporware"

Why would 0000 steel wool be worse on a stainless v carbon steel gun? All I would add to FNG's post is Very gently rub, thoroughly clean afterwards. The Eclipse has polished flats, no scotch brite....
