I load 3-4k/month, and I have a 550 (switched between 9 and 45, but I used to load 40 on it as well) and a 650 (40 only). It feels to me like the 650 requires noticeably less effort and less wear and...

I would advise not having 5 misses.

Rimfire challenge (similar to steel challenge but different) does not allow reloads, so everyone barneys up to 11 to start. they also have up to 7 targets...

if you are reloading on the clock, waktasz is entirely right. If you are reloading between strings and just need to keep mags handy, then that 8 mag pouch would be fine. I should get something like...

Like 1911's, they are assembled from parts, by people of varying skills. We have one that my wife uses only for steel challenge (she thinks shooting rifles in pistol matches is stupid). We have never...

No malfunctions at this match. Their guns ran perfectly. In fact, the 2nd place pcc guy (down in 10th-12 overall, behind 4 SS shooters) even got a reshoot on a stage he tanked when the timer didn't...

as i have mentioned elsewhere, I do pay some attention to other pistol divisions at local matches, just because there is often not much heat in any one division, but if a CO shooter 'wins' by less...

Interesting match results at USPSA

At yesterday's match in Nampa ID, the first pcc shooter (classified master) was behind 3 carry optics shooters and 3 singlestack shooters. This is about normal for us.

We do have a local guy who...

actually nobody wins high overall, because it's not a thing. Not even recognized by the rules. Unless of course it's an iron-sight shooter, then it totally counts.

It might be an advantage on longer shots if they were actually competing in your division. But they're not. And they have a huge disadvantage on leans, ports, prop manipulation, etc...
