Commander Frame/internals vs. Gov't question

Beyond the obvious that a Commander is .75 shorter in the barrel than a Gov't., specifically what else is different as far as the function/cycling of the guns?

Baer has always been on a different page regarding most things so why not on purple slides. That makes it a Baer. I'm a big fan.

Have done the same thing with my first STI gun (Staccato P). It doesn't take much pressure, the slightest touch will do it. Drop the offhand thumb just a bit and that does it.

Not at all. I don't have an XL but an L and 2 Ps. Very soft on recoil, very solid overall, wouldn't be concerned about the trigger material.

Maybe a classic all steel 1911 fan won't like them...
