I think you chose wisely! The SA RO sights are not skin friendly. Of course if you only intend to handle the SA RO at the range, according to the name, your skin should be safe.

Colt supposedly has fewer MIM parts than the SR1911s. Value wise, I've kept the Rugers and sold the Colts. Fit, finish, and for looks, I really like the Rugers!
