Lots of issues around this option. Enough solar panels. Solar panels would require some sort of battery storage system which leads to sophisticated monitors and some pretty expensive deep cycle...

BTW: A Wrangler jean jacket has a nice internal chest pocket that is ideal for a sticky holster...

Take a look at Simply Rugged holsters. I have a S&W M60 3” and it carries well in the Sourdough Pancake. Good protection for the finish along with a “flab tab.”

Our county is about 2000 sq miles with six road deputies total. Our Sheriff encourages all to carry at all times. Code 3 response can be up to 1 hour just in drive time.

Holsters for 938: I use either a MS Executives Companion for IWB or a MS 55BN for OWB. Also have a Remora sticky holster that fits on the inside pocket of my Wrangler jean jacket very nicely as well...

I have and carry a 938 SAS model which comes with a carry melt treatment which is very nice to have. Weight is not an issue compared with a 1911 OACP or Commander.
