I have half of a Wilson Flatwire kit in my EMP Champion which is the same length as your Compact and it works great.Mine is the .40 S&W which uses the same weight recoil spring as .45 ACP.

The EMP 4 comes with fiber optic front and 2 dot rear sights-also any holster for a 1911 will work for a EMP-but the front strap is not smooth it has the golf ball treatment.
I own both of the EMP...

If it is anything like the fiber optic on the EMP I changed to red from green-I just snipped out the old one-heated a piece of red fiber rod on one end until it was belled=slid into the sight-clipped...

I don't mind MIM at all-it just was surprising not to see that little round dimple on the hammer-I have 4 other Kimbers and they have that dimple so no big deal as far as quality goes.
