This is more or less correct.

Their whole plan is based on willful compliance. And they do not have a plan B.

Almost funny in a way.

His PR outfit does a pretty good job of talking him up in the television ads. But when you see him on the stage. He comes across as a little sad elf.

But then again, you would think that they would have enough sense.

To ramp up production of the SAA. So it is hard to figure what they will do.

I hear you loud and clear on this Mag man.

The guy also has one like what you describe, +/- 90%. Muzzle wear and some dings on the grips. I looked at it, but he only wants two bills more for the clean one. In all honesty whichever one I...

It comes with nothing aside from the gun.

According to you and Otto, my guy is about a hundred bucks too high. But then again how often do they come up for sale?

Din do nuffin!

Back then Colt was about the only game in town. You bought a new one or you bought an old one. Not too hard to figure out.

No big surprise that running full auto would cook a barrel out pretty quick.

A little surprised at the 4,000-5,000 round drop off for a semi auto gun though. I have a heavy barreled S&W performance center gun 20" that is pushing up past six or seven thousand rounds (not sure...

You made some valid points Dana.

But as a long time shooter of copper bullets. You are incorrect in your statement concerning effective range of copper projectiles. I would suggest that you speak with the people over at Barnes...

Agreed that running away is a fools errand.

We thought that we were safe here in VA. Recent events have demonstrated clearly that this is not the case. My wife and I are going to hold fast and fight. There may actually be some good news coming...

Mine is sure a beautiful gun also.

In addition to the nice bluing job, it got some pretty nice stocks as well. It has never even been sent back for the modification. Now my 6" 686-4 makes me feel like I can really shoot.

The first...

Anyone ever actually burn out a barrel on an AR type rifle?

By burn out I mean shoot it enough to where the accuracy becomes markedly degraded. If so I would be interested to know about it. What type of rifle/barrel, round count, ammo used, shooting...

My 329PD 4" .44 mag.

In an El Paso saddlery tanker rig is the best woods rig that I have ever had. It has a lot of miles worth of carry on it.

Yes, I am thinking that 1,400 or 1,500$ is about right.

I would say that it is a solid 95%. But when you get up that close, it is hard for me to really say. Some guys will tell you that they can tell the difference between a 94% gun and a 96% gun. And...

Looking at a pretty clean Colt Diamondback.

I am thinking +/- 95%. Four inch blue .38 special. The guy wants 1,500$ firm. What do you guys think? He actually has a LNIB 4" factory Nickel in .22 also but he wants four big ones for that one. No...

Nice score!

My 586 no dash is not going anywhere anytime soon. I have a model 57 that has slightly nicer bluing on it. But the bluing on my 586 is superb, shoots pretty good also.

I am not a big fan of Ballistol

Not sure what goes into that stuff. But I prefer distilled petroleum products with additives that I recognize.

Good that you note cruise ships.

Speaking as a lifelong professional mariner. Going from second bottle washer to master of an oceangoing state of the art (American flagged) large tonnage ship (industrial ABS cable layer). Cruise...

Meanwhile there are a bunch of talking heads on the radio right now.

They are crying about how he is "gaming the system" by putting conservative judges on the federal bench. I guess that if you do not do what they want, then you are "gaming the system."

Maybe the...
