All by itself I agree. I installed the small radius FPS to slow the slide after I installed a lighter MS. The recoil spring really only has one main purpose, which is to return the slide to battery....

Ironically I use Brian's Slide Glide on my 45s. Never had an issue, even after either 2,000 rounds without cleaning or 6 months in the safe.

I went with the Harrison True radius...

I went with the Harrison True radius hammer/sear/disconnector. Also a new TS. Great stuff and works well.
