Photos of the actual pistol is the only way you can receive other than a guess. Photos should be reasonably close, clear, show lines and Any stamping including proof and inspectors marks.

G 10 is a good grip material holding the checkering sharp and without slipping in the hand. I prefer wood and found the Hogue product to be thin, hand fitting and comfortable as well as nicely made.

Filson, The circle with Hebrew letter is the former property mark when Israel owned the pistol, I have samples with a star and others with the circle. I do not have a true meaning of each.

Two of my Israeli Hi Powers are marked, one with a star Like the OP’s and the other is a circle with Hebrew marking inside. The first is a Mk III and the circle marked pistol is a MkII.
