I run shock buffs in my 5” guns without any issues. You could try a new one and see what happens in case that individual buff was the problem or just shoot it without one. Certainly not required.

Don’t have a TRP, so I can’t compare. I will say that I think the E-series is the most underrated 1911 out there. Extremely good, reliable gun at a very good price.

9mm Blazer brass is one of my favorites to reload. Don’t reload any of the SPP .45 brass as my daughter gets all that and prefers the SPP.

Blazer is good quality brass.

I only have one flanged barrel and it is on my .45 Stealth. I do feel some benefit and am glad I have it. Would I order another gun specifically with a flanged barrel spec’d, most likely not.
