In Wilson full size mags, the 7 round 47 is exactly the same length as the 8 round 47D. Other than the extra witness hole in the 47D, they are otherwise the exact same tube.

I don't have any pictures, though have you looked at Wilson's website, but as a data point the full size 7 round 47 and 8 round 47D are the same length and the ETM 8 rounders are longer.

By gap, you mean you can't use your palm to get the mag to lock into place, you need to use your finger to push the mag inside the magwell high enough to lock into place.

There are no mags with bumper pads that will be flush with a 1911 grip.

Other than the 920 series, none of Wilson's mags will be flush fit. Even without the bumper pad they are longer than a 1911...
