Early 1947 Government Model

Here is a rather nice 1947 Colt Government Model that has the early 47 slide marking on the left. Gun is high polished blue with surplus military parts.

In Dec. 1939, both of these boys (71592X and 71630X) joined the Navy at Sewalls Point, Virginia. After 79 years still look pretty sharp including the matching numbered slides :rock:
