I disagree. Most current Python owners are excited and happy to see the new Python. The guys bitching and nitpicking it are the guys that don't own an original Python and don't plan on buying this...

I miss the serrated backstrap also, always thought that was a nice touch.

It sure makes it easy though to know if the Python is an original or the 2020 model, especially for novices.
