Chuck's response in a pm to me when he was helping me with some decisions back in 2012 and asked me what the wife prefers to shoot:

Thanks Ricky. No words.

Grandpas50AE 03-02-2014 05:13 PM

Thanks for sharing Ricky. "Great is thy faithfulness" fits AC as well as anyone I can imagine.

US1911 03-02-2014 05:42 PM

Thanks for sharing that Rich. AC is still here in spirit and always will be.

Ricky T 03-02-2014 09:01 PM

I also posted this picture in the General Discussion thread.

Thanks for posting, RickyT. God bless AC.

When my time comes, I hope I have the courage, wisdom and carrying for others as displayed by this gentleman. I did not know him and I feel poorer for it.

WTN10 05-23-2014 09:29 PM

Read through the thread. What a brave guy. Sad I missed him. Seemed to have a lot of practical, almost fatherly advice guys need to hear.

Cancer's a bitch. Snuffed out my brother. Now taking my friend's mom. If you don't get it you're lucky.

Ricky T 11-07-2014 06:11 AM

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN MY FRIEND.

Yes, and from many of us my friend.

AC will always be remembered for the amazing person he was.

lowspeed_highdrag 02-19-2015 11:50 PM

I don't own a Wilson, but I always held AC in high regard. I was fortunate to learn from his wisdom for a few years…

For all the time I've spent over on M4C I never knew AC was so involved in the 1911 game or on this site. It was great to be able to learn what I could from him. His presence is certainly missed.

Remembering our friend Army Chief on the second anniversary of the day he left us. Wishing his family and friends peace and comfort.

We miss you brother.

I cannot believe it's been 2 yrs now.

RIP AC.

Grandpas50AE 12-07-2015 09:04 AM

Wow, 2 years already. His presence is sorely missed; may his family and friends be blessed with peace and comfort for having been close to him. No doubt in my mind AC is receiving the best of blessings in Heaven. RIP Chuck.

Bigdaddymike 12-07-2015 10:20 AM

A day that will live in infamy...RIP Chuck!

Ricky T 11-07-2016 05:53 AM

Happy Birthday in heaven my friend. I miss you so much.

Grandpas50AE 11-07-2016 06:11 AM

Ricky T - may you be blessed for your faithful and loving friendship, a not too common thing these days. And happy birthday in Heaven to Chuck.

US1911 11-07-2016 12:26 PM

I still think about AC often. Good thing is that when I go to the range, Chuck goes with me, every time.

Man, it sucks to find this.

I did not know he had passed.

I worked with and shared a tent Chuck at BIAP 2003-2004. I remember him telling me he was active on a forum back home. I did not realize it was this one.

My favorite memory of him from over there was the day I walked into the hooch and found that he had assembled a complete 707 cockpit instrumentation panel in his area. He found a half-buried milvan full of Iraqi Airways stuff. He was as happy as a little kid at Christmas.

In the midst of all the suck, days like that were a joy.

Chuck was a good peep!

If you have time, maybe you want to read through all 45 pages of Chuck's fight with cancer.
