Staccato P/Duo Trigger

The website says the trigger is 4.5lbs for the 2019 model. Is that generally accurate? Will the 2020 model trigger weight be different?

What are the more common things Staccato P owners have done to bring the trigger down to sub 4lbs (handgun won't be used for competition)?

Thx

Trigger pull doesn't affect accuracy, more like someones ability to work the trigger. I doubt they will change, their race guns run 2-2.5lbs but the Staccato is not that and that is a pretty common weight for a defensive gun. Even things like IDPA have a 3.5lb trigger limit and that what I generally like.

When I said accurate, I was asking if the trigger pull claim is accurate.

Sorry, yes I'd say that's accurate, least with my Duo 45.

Yes STI Triggers on their defensive pistols combine around 4.5 lbs. Their competition pistols 2.5 lbs.

A lot of the triggers on my 2011ís are closer to the 3.5lb range according to my Lyman gauge. That said the Staccato-P is marketed towards the LE/MIL market and they may be set slightly higher.
