Favorite STI for the range?
What's your favorite STI that you enjoy shooting the most at the range? Not for carry but just plinking fun.

My Marauder. Did a few changes to it and now it goes to the range pretty much every time.

My DVC L 9mm is the flattest, fastest, and softest shooting STI I have. It is the kind of gun that blows through 300 rounds and you just don't want to stop.

I'm pretty sure if I had a DVC P (now called the Staccato XC), that would be my favorite. Just need to put $4K together and grab one :)

Technically it can be (and is intended to be) for competition, but the DVC-S is amazing and sooooo much fun. Better than the Omni or “p” or whatever, IMHO

So far I've only got the one STI but damn it is awesome to shoot.

Short answer- all of them. I enjoy shooting my Staccato C just as much as my CCC. And all others in between. Not saying that they shoot/handle the same- just that I enjoy them equally.

The CCC, for example, gives you exactly what you expect from such a gun- a ridiculously soft-shooting laser beam. However, the Staccato C is a pleasant surprise in comparison- a little gun that shoots like a big gun. I love them all.

All my now "vintage" or "employee owned" era STIs. My matching hard chromed Sentinel Premiers in 45, My Nitro 10 single stack and my Nitro 10 2011.

I have a ton of STIís. I usually take my carry guns to the range to train with. I occasionally take a fun gun in the range bag of 5 guns. Itís always fun to shoot one of my Costa Carry Comps, DVC-Steel, Combat Master or any other of a number of guns BUT itís usually at the end of my range session because those guns spoil me a bit.
