Searching for a PP, ended up with a PT1911

I have owned a PT1911 before. Traded it. Liked it, but wanted the CZ75 more. That was about 5 years ago.
Well while out searching for a .32 caliber Walther PP Friday I came home with a stainless 9mm PT1911.
Go figure.
And no, I did not get a great deal on a new 2013 model.
Put about 200 rounds through it today.
First two magazines had issues. Three stove pipes. Then things cleared up. No issues from there on out using white box and reloads. Really was a pleasant shooter.
Might have to rethink my love affair with my CZ75b.

After about 3 trips to the range with this firearm I continue to have good reliability (it is only a range gun for me) using white box and reloads.
A consistent issue has been my target skills. All is low left. At 15 yards on a 11x17 target I can hit center of target with point of aim at upper right hand corner. One proficient shooter at the range this weekend repeated my experience. However, the rangemaster, who was a 1911 person picked it up and had not issues with alignment. Elevation, some, but not alignment.
So, thinking it is me. No similar issues with my other firearms. Next I will take my RIA 1911 in .45 and see if I get the same results. I rarely shoot it.

Spent some more range time with my Taurus 1911 (along with my CZ P07, my Walther PPK/s .32, and a S&W MP 22 compact) and was much happier with results this time around. All of my single stacks I was pretty accurate with. My double-stack CZ I was consistently lower-left, which had been an issue with my 1911 the last time I was out.
It is beginning to rival my CZ 75B in terms of enjoyable range guns.

Low left is caused by jerking the trigger. You're trying to shoot to quickly and jerking the trigger.

Slow it down.

Strive for a straight trigger press to the rear.

Guaranteed to solve low left....
