combat commander transition model

I've fournd an early series 80 combat commander transition model (serial number begins with 80, but does not have the firing pin block or the holes for the series 80 parts). It's tough to tell in the pics, but it appears the slide has series 70 rollmarks.

How common are these? Anything I should be on the look out for (when considering purchase).
