Here is my CQB...it's had about 3500 through it aand no malfunctions with factory(2000 rounds) only a few malfunctions with my reloads(200 grn hornady c/t). It is my favorite full size....probably commmander style too if I had one.

echo154 great looking gun... BTW, I noticed the light rail on your gun. May I ask what brand of holster did you find to fit your Wilson with the light rail. I just bought a Wilson Protector with a light rail and am looking for a carry holster, but with no success, due to the light rail. Any info would be appreciated. thanks!!

I have a Sparks BN55 which they made to fit the light rail frame. It will not fit with the light on it but works great without the light attatched....I recently purchased a CQC/s from Lou Alessi for my NH Enforcer II and have to say it is more comfortable and concealable than the BN55 but I don't know if Lou makes it for a light rail. I am sure an email to him will get you a quick answer though.

It would be nice if we had a site to compare the various models available.

I mean a site where you can, say go look up 4" 1911's, from different models and manyfacturer's. List options from standard to exotic, prices, and maybe why the price is worth what you pay, or not.
A 1911 site for those who want to know. |

Here's my Wilson...
A Carbon Steel Wilson Protector worked over by Larry Vickers. Larry did the following work:
Larry also did some additional beveling for carry and blended the beavertail to the frame tangs. The pistol looks great and runs great. Last edited by Noklue3; 12-18-2008 at 05:27 AM. |

This is my mostly stock Wilson Combat Classic 45. I added an Ed Brown Magwell, Smith and Alexander magwell grips, and a Dawson fiber optic sight. It never lets me down in IDPA!
