Yah. The S&W PC1911s are very well thought of by all owners I've talked with.
If I could afford all the 1911s I wanted I'd be sure to include one of these! Melonite finish looks good. |

This is my first post here. Hi to all, Just got the S&W 108284, I went to the local range here in Orlando and shoot 200 rounds, woow this is one fine 1911, it was awesome how I was instantly connected with it and shooting like I have had the gun for past 10 years, I am very pleased with the quality and accuracy of it. In past I owned, Colt 1911, Ber 92F, Browning hi-power, Glock 30, para P13, HK 9mm usp compac was the one I traded in to get the 108284 and don't regret it a bit. The gun came with the wood grips and I am not a fan of wood grips so I replaced them with Hogue rubber grips.
After my first 200 , I cleaned the gun and there was very fine metal shavings dripping down from slide when I sprayed cleaner (Break-In? ) . So far so good. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Smith&Wesson 39-2 Nickel (X-rated)
You've all seen my two S&W1911s ad nauseum;so,although you've probably seen this one too, these are semi-nekkid pictures of it(knickers down),genuine gun-pron,cheap and dirty. Tips Accepted.
![]() ![]() Really quiet here on the S&W column. Too many happy shooters,I guess. ![]() The ubiquitous subject+watch+foot shot:

Beater
Zilmo,not baad for a "little beater" !
I hope to have a shortie 945 someday. Everybody I've talked with who has one cherishes them(very protective of them). Please don't beat the little booger too hard. Great pics! Do you have a couple shots with the slide locked back? I've never been able to inspect one up close/personal. What do they look like "in there"? Thanks! Smith&Wessons, ya can't have too many. I only have 5;but,it has taken a while to get them. heheheh |

An ES would be a nice addition for me. If not,my Gunsite's slide is going on a compact frame. Either a Colt or Kimber.
Gotta have a CCO. |

My SW 1911
Here's my SW 1911. A model 108284 with black ergo grips, a Smith and Alexander arched mainspring housing/magwell, and some trigger work that you can't see. Now if I could only shoot as well as it can...
P.S. I anyone could tell me how to post pictures that show up in the post instead of as attachments I'd really appreciate it. |
