Hard chome contacts
I have been trying to get my HP sent away for a matte or buffed hard chrome job. I have emailed several shops that do this. Not a one has responded. What's the secret of getting their attention, or do they just not give a rip because business is good right now..??

Any suggestions?

Derek, thanks for the tip. I e-mailed them already and am waiting for a response. I would just as soon spend my money with them, they sound like a good outfit.

I second the recommendation on Ron Mahovsky. He's done 6 of my guns over the years and the finish is terrific. I started using him in the late 80's and used him most recently about two months ago to hard chrome my Kimber TLEII. Great work!

I called them Thurs and left a message. I'll be durned if they didn't call back the same day and we had an informative discussion about plating. My BHP is on the way Friday along with 2 1911 barrels. You're right, nice folks, helpful, and I'm glad you recommended them to me. Now the wait starts. (sigh)
