Hello, sir. He does fine work and you have a VERY fine pistol. Thank you for letting us see and drool over it.
Best and thanks again.

Thank you Mr. Camp. Your posts and pictures are what got me interested in Hi-Powers in the first place. Your knowledge and experience with HPs are always very informative.

NICE. I fear Ted is going to be getting more of my money... as if my Delta Elite wasn't enough.

gpo-
you lucky beggar...I am still awaiting the return of the 2 I sent him. Thanks for shoving my nose in it!!! Next you'll tell me that Santa brought you some nice custom carry leather for it! What nice guy you're not! I gotta start being better, so Santa will stop by my house. Just kidding, looks similar to what I am having done, I'm sure mine will come back looking just as nice! Let us all know how great it shoots, how nice it handles and how the trigger breaks clean at 4#... that way I'll have that much more to look forward to! I will just spend the afternoon repeating the following out loud...... " thou shall not covet another man's pistol" over and over til I feel repentant! Nice shoot'n iron Mark

Mr. Yost does some beautiful work and your Hi Power is a wonderful example of that. I got to stop buying guns so I can get some work done on my guns by Mr. Yost.

Ted, in addition to being a good friend, is an excellent 'smith. Very nice!

With Arizona's cheap cost of living, it's one of the few places these starving artists can survive!

Don Williams (donw) and Ted Yost were cut from the same bolt of cloth. Both are true gentlemen and superb pistolsmiths. I consider myself fortunate to be acquainted with these fine men and own several examples of their great work. When it comes to custom, it doesn't get any better! And when it comes to BHP trigger jobs, Don Williams of the Action Works is 'DA MAN!!! Don, take a bow -- Don't be so modest, buddy! There may be something to Don's "lack of water" theory. Don Williams, Ted Yost, and Chuck Rogers all within a stones throw of one another. Water is probably not needed in custom gun heaven!

I just got my slide back from Mr. Williams last week. Beleive me, he doesn't take a backseat to anybody. I can't wait to send him the frame and have it worked over. On top of his excellent work, he's just a very nice guy to deal with!

Does Yost still make the "clicking safety" exclusively or can you get one his style safeties from other smiths?
