Kimber Pro TLE/RL II.

I have a Kimber Pro TLE/RL II. I love it. Sad thing is I have only a little over a hundred rds threw it. Been treating her with frog lube from day one. I love they way she feels in my hand. Like my hands were created Kay for that purpose. Ordered a 100 box of 230g HST. Awaiting on my holster from tucker gunleather. I know it's going to be worth the extra cash. Currently rocking a CMC power mag 8 with no issues. I just wish I could give her the trigger time she needs.

I have the Stainless Pro TLE / RL II, and it has been great right out the box. Only problem is getting ammo to shoot it

It's a great gun but you must find more time to shoot it.

Welcome to the forum. I have the full size TLE/RL, and it has never given me a problem. I bought it when they first came about. Good gun.

I bought a TLE/RLII in STS and love it! I waited 90 days for my FOID Card and once I had that card in hand, I ordered off Gun Broker and snatched one up. I hit all the local WalMarts and picked up Winchester Whitebox 45apc target ammo. Signed up the family at the local gun range and put about 700 rounds through her in the three times I went to the range. Absolutely love this gun! Very ballanced, but just wished I could shoot more. It's not that I don't have the ammo, I have 1500 rounds sitting in my gun locker. The concern is now that I have everything needed, I dont want to part with this scarce ammo. Trust me, I want the training, but those classes ask you to bring 500 rounds for training and trying to replenishe that much is expensive. So should I wait till ammo is flowing on the shelves more or just burn through my supply and get the training? Oh and last week I took my wife to the range, I had her shoot my Mossy 930SPX first, scarred her a bit with that power and then transitioned over to the TLE RLII and she absolutely loved it! It was more fun watching her shoot and hear her asking for more ammo! I also like the fact that she hits up WalMart for ammo now too with her visits there. - sorry for the long post! Have fun!!

I wouldnt worry to much, ammo is starting to become easier to find. I havent had any issues buying ammo recently. Granted I buy alot of it online, but its still pretty easy to find at decent prices.

Went to get another magazine today and the local shop was all out of cmc power mag 8rd. They did have kimber pro tac 8rd mags for 32.99. Anyone have experience with these and is that a fair price?

I have several KimPro mags. They work in every 1911 I have, a real nice mag.
As for price, that is probably normal for your area. I get mine from the Dayton, Oh area at a $29.99 price.

I have had good luck with the kimber pro mags and the Ed brown 8 packs in my pro tle rl. The 8 packs work a bit better because they were not designed to fit flush with the bottom of the magwell without a base pad. YMMV

My Pro TLE/RL stays loaded with Wilson 47D mags, but I cycle several of each CMC & Kimber ProTAC mags without fail.

Carry my Pro TLE/RL every night on my walk through town with my German Short Hair. Not worried about two-legged problems, but mountain lion, fox and skunks, been a few rabies cases around this part of AZ. Carry in my Swift C-Flex, never had a problem feeding from any mags I have tried.

I can't wait to order my TLE II in 10mm... At which point i'll trade in my Eclipse Custom II... Didn't like the stainless-steel to begin with, but 10mm aren't easy to come buy up here... So I jumped...

Why in the world would you put VZ grips and a mag well on a Pro TLE II?
