New Para Elite

Picked up a Para Elite today . It is my first Para. Fit and finish are excellent . Looking forward to taking it to the range tomorrow.

Congrats! I was --this-- close to getting one just recently but that deal fell through. I still may pick one up soon. They've got alot going for them and are a great deal for the money. How about pics? Black or Stainless?

So how did it shoot. I have an Expert and the Elite is my next. The Expert runs great.

It shot great . I shot at 5,10 , 15 and 25 yards. It grouped well at all distances. My worst was 25 with that being me of course. I put 200 rds down range without a single hiccup. I tried several different brands of magazines and ammo . It preferred federal 230 hard ball from a Wilson 47D, with WIn 230 JHP out of the factory Para mags coming in a close second. Something I couldn't control with my reloads ( 185 lead sw) was I would shoot two tight and in the bullseye and the next two low and to the left. They would be tight but low and to the left . Anyway overall , only 200 rds through it but happy so far. Sorry but I still haven't figured out how to post any pics .

I am really liking this Elite . Definitely recommend it . I have finally gotten back to the range and put another 320 rds through it for a total of 560 rds. Might replace the plastic trigger and mainspring housing but other than that for now will leave it be .

Looks nice. Even on my phone. I was lookin on their site this weekend and the Elite Stainless Pro looks like something I'd like to have. My usual supplier has the Elite Stainless but i e-mailed about getting a Pro Stainless. Still undecided though if thats the one I want. Great to hear your initial range session.

Just recently purchased an Elite. The day I purchased it there was a SR1911 a SW1911 and Rem R1 in the case with the Elite. After checking slide to frame fit and trigger pull/release there was no doubt which one would go home with me.
