Not only that you actually have them! That's crazy! It took me a long time to get my full size, ill probably forget about this before I ever see one at a local gun shop.

Please keep us updated with more photos and a range report.

I'm sure you don't want to sell one, but I would love to see what some would pay on the net, I'm sure it would get crazier than what the full size was going for.

Wht did they stay with the full sized handle? I would buy a CCO in short order but this does nothing for me.

Ill be shooting at least one of mine tomorrow and I'll post the results. I did place on the digital kitchen scales and it weighs 34 ounces compared to 39 for the full size.

As far as the full length handle, I prefer that. I like the capacity and the feel of a full sized handle.

Finally, if someone is truly interested, PM me and I'll see if I can get my hands on another. It is my understanding, and I did speak to the wholesaler yesterday, that there may be 10 (including my two) in Alaska.

I would definitely be in for one but my business is seasonal and I am on financial lockdown until the ground thaws. Congrats on finding this rare creature. I am still in a little bit of shock over this.

I think that just made my day, I have been holding out for a commander size Ruger and now its here. It is funny that Ruger comes out with there Commander just as Remington releases there's.

Wow. Thanks for the heads up. I just talked with the wholesaler and apparently there are a few more of these locally in the Anchorage area. Going to head to two local retailers and at least get my name on the waiting list for one! For those outside AK, you might want to check your favorite LGS as Ruger has brought this one out under the radar so to speak. I can't imagine us having them here in Anchorage and them not also being distributed to other venders around the country. Let the buying begin!
