Taurus PT1911 SS AR Range Report

Did some lunchtime shooting today with the PT1911. It did an outstanding job. Fired 50 rds. of WWB 230 gr hardball and 50 rds. of Lawman TMJ 230 gr. hardball. Range 7-10 yards. No FTFs or FTEs. Most shots in the 9 or X ring in reasonably small groups. Did pretty well practicing controlled pairs. The best ones were touching out to about the width of a quarter. This gun makes it too easy. Its hard to wipe this goofy smile off my face. Shooting .45 rounds is a lot of fun, there's probably another pistol in my future. I have a PX4 Storm in 9mm. Maybe I'll trade it in for one in .45 ACP. Very happy with the Taurus 1911.

Pt 1911

I have a PT 1911 in 38 Super I picked up awhile back, to be honest, I had planned on going with another gun but the Taurus was such a sweet deal I could not say no. I`m so glad I went w/ the PT now! It is so smooth and way more accurate than I am. It`s fast becoming my favorite. Ignore the Taurus bashers Your gonna love it!
