Series 1 Combat Carry back from Robar

Just got my Combat Carry back from Robar, had them add a single sided safety full NP3 plus thought I would post some pics.

The NP3 plus only comes in that color, it's kind of a darkish gray nickle, everything was already done except the single sided safety.

Not sure it was on the gun when I bought it used.

It looks like a Wilson Combat Speed Chute. Nicely done. Let us know how it shoots.

I think your right, the guy I bought it from said he replaced everything he could with Wilson parts.

Yeah I was wondering because it blends well with those thin grips.

Looks great. My Baer TRS is finished in NP3+ and it's some really good stuff.

Wow, that's sure changes it's looks. I was told it was one of the best guns Kimber turned out back then. It being in the lineage of the CDP (in between the Elite) it was said the few that were made had gotten more hands on them. I know mine is a shooter+. It's a really cool Kimber to have.

Congrats! I'm assuming it was 3-4 months turn around to get it done?

Took about 10 weeks I was quoted 8, this is the only Kimber I own so I agree with your assessment on the series I.

I think they are all quite the shooter. I like my Kimber Series II, but I love the Series I. There are some obvious differences and I am glad to own one.
