I love mine...only have 260 rounds through it, but damn that thing shoots like a dream.

The Valor is a great 1911. I have one and am completely satisfied with it. As mentioned above, be sure to keep it well lubed for break in. Certainly hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Love mine. I think that it's probably the best value out there for a what it is. Mine is every bit as good as I want or need it to be. My biggest joy in regard to the Valor is that it has pretty much everything that I would spec out on a custom 1911 and nothing more. About the ONLY thing that I don't like about it is that the checkering goes all the way to the bottom of the front strap.

I liked my Valor so much I bought a 9mm Guardian. The Valor was my first centerfire auto and I did a lot of research before I bought it. I've never regretted it, wish I would have gotten the Duty Treatment though. It scratches easily. Yeah, Yeah, idiot scratches on my first detail strip. Life is tough.

DWHAM, Don't worry about the scratch. They happen along with lots of others. You have a great pistol. Shoot it a lot and enjoy it.
