Idk, but I I spoke with shawn from armscor yesterday and he told me that they have started including deep cut feed ramps for hollow points on all their pistols including their basic GI's. To my knowledge, there isn't another 1911 manufacturer even close to that price range that includes it as a standard feature. Just something to get you more excited I guess. I picked a new GI up the other day.

when you say "deep cut feed ramps", what that exactly does that mean?

Deep cut ramps extend ~.400" to .420" below the top of the frame rails. Standard depth is .360" but some are shallower. that can lead to issues with hollow points because JHP's contact lower on the ramp than ball ammo. If you get a shallow ramp, a large hollow point and a magazine that sits low in the gun, it may contact the frame instead of the frame ramp.

Good question...I don't necessarily need another pistol, but when these hit the shelves I'm liable to trade my 2010 tac in for one.
