Pastor Anthony Jobe tensed up when someone kicked his kitchen door Monday morning.

After two break-ins in six years, the 53-year-old Army veteran grabbed his .40-caliber handgun and walked to the kitchen.

The intruder ran, jumping into a car in Jobe's driveway in the 2400 block of Hunting Drive. Jobe fired at least twice more, hitting the windshield and back window of the car, which sped away.

That part might get him in trouble, they said they are still deciding whether to present it to a grand jury. Hope not, but it wasn't the best choice at that point.

The case being presented to the Grand Jury is not necessarily a bad thing. In Texas most shootings are brought before a Grand Jury. If law enforcement and the DA feel that the shooting was justified the DA will ask for a no bill of indictment.

In the FWST account I read nothing that said the bg was shot. But maybe I missed it. He could have been injured by flying glass form both his front & rear windshields being shot out.
