sig-sauer ambidextrous safety

Would any member know if a Kimber hammer pin ambi safety fit a 1911 sig-sauer? I have a late model tacpac. (march 2012 mfg.) Being left handed, I'd like to add one. The other thing being that they come in matte black finish, I was wondering if it would be a close enough match against the Nitron finish
on the handgun. I could send it to Sig, but considering the 55.00 cost to ship from N.J. then the cost of the safety from Sig, another 70.00 seems a little 'stiff' . By the way, Sig will not sell me the am bi safety.
