1000 round mark
woooohoooo just hit the 1000 round mark on my basic r1.It shoots like its out the box, in fact better now that everything is broken in real nice. at first i had a couple FTF with one of my magazines now that its been used no more FTFs well worth the 719 i paid for the thing im going to look into getting a second R1. slide to frame is still nice and tight. just thought i would have shared. when i go to shoot i shoot around 200+ rounds a go great great pistol

Hello Vinnie, good to hear you are happy with your R1 and are considering another. It appears to run like a pistol should.

Nice. I like mine pretty good and it has had over 1,000 through it. It sure does sling the brass out though. I read that that's a sign I need to buy a new recoil spring.
Not to high jack the thread but, any suggestions on weight? |

An R1 was my first and hopefully soon to be not only 1911. Don't have that many rounds through it yet. Not sure how many I do have. Had it a while before I learned you were supposed to count. I'm as happy with mine as you seem to be with yours. Congrats!!!
