What I think is that this is the best photography of hyena brown I've ever seen. VZ should hire out your skills.

Yep, very nice picture indeed. Just got a set of G-10's in tiger stripe for my Pro Raptor last week. Ordered them on a Sunday and got them UPS ground at 7:00 P.M. the following Thursday. They feel great. Have the G-10's in black cherry on my CDP II also. Your picture puts mine to shame

I originally wanted to go with that color on the grips, but I noticed more people had that color scheme so I wanted to try a different route. By the way everyone does that color scheme you have because it looks so damn good. I'm sending my grips back to VZ tomorrow to have the bottoms beveled

Wow that looks great!! Thank you for posting that picture. I've long considered getting the Operator II's in Hyena Brown, but I had no idea how it would look on a stainless body. Needless to say it's a winning match

The only other one I haven't seen that I'd like to is the zebra in Recon or Operator II on a stainless body.

Those hyena brown do look good! Having different grips is part of the fun with a 1911. You might like a custom set too like these blue box elder burl:

I have the same style on mine....different color though.
They definitely feel good in the hand.
Just ordered a set from Larry Davidson in the Wilson Combat starburst pattern to try out too.
