RIA 9mm and Doublestack Barrel
Okay, here's the hypothetical:
The 9mm/.22 TCM combos are popping up sporatically. I own a 9mm RIA single stack 9mm, darn fine pistol.Okay, having built a few 1911s ground up, I am not a newb in terms of barrel fitting, though it's a laborious process. Question is (and hopefully any factory reps can help out ):1. Does the .22 TCM/9mm combos have a ramped or standard barrel configuration? 2. On the doublestack 9mm, are the lower lug fittings (if a standard barrel) similar to the single stack or is there a proprietary cut? 3. And hoping great answers to the first two: When's the .22 TCM barrel going to be commerically available?! (for that matter, where are our single stack officer's 9mm RIA coming out wanna build me a poor man's Colt Defender!)A single stack .22 TCM seems like it would be a fun range toy!
