Yes, I have one. It's my IDPA gun. For the money it would be hard to beat, IMHO

Be sure to ask the Dawson sales person if longer base pads for the magazines are needed for the Dawson Ice Magwell.....I know they are needed for .45acp, but I'm not sure about 9mm mags.....never hurts to ask.

No wait time. Bought it with 300rds thru it from a friend.
Rich is right on the base pads. I bought the DP 10rd mags made for the mag well.

Rich, on another note, my GS said the extractor was VERY loose, so I hope that fixed the jaming problem.

Evil, I get emails from DP, and every now and then the "STI/DP 9mm is on the email.
I would call, might not have to wait. It's not like ordering a gun stright from STI

I just talked to them today about same gun and was told a week and it will be ready to ship.

For positive seating, you will need the extended basepads if used with the Dawson ICE magwell. If you have any questions about the CRP package, let me know. I just got one on an Eagle, extremely pleased

Some years ago DP did a performance tune on a .45, before it shipped. Less than 2 weeks back then in the old days.

Dave built a limited gun for me in '99 to go with two nearly identical LTD .40 SVs.
Those three guns have had a workout, last week the Dawson went over 55,000 rounds on the orginal barrel and slide. The Schuemann barrels in the SVs were shot out by then and both have now had three barrels. That Dawson gun just keeps on running. He once told me he's pretty much a genius when it comes to guns.....I believe him.
