Post up your 2 Tones

Picked up a Super Carry Ultra, and I was looking for suggestions on grips... I stuck some black slimline grips off of my Colt on it to see how they looked..... Needless to say, they did not pop at all. I don't need anything freakishly outlandish, but I would like something to set the gun off a bit. I was wanting to see what other 2 Tone guys have done to get some ideas. Thanks in Advance .

I'd like to see some examples as well. Would like to change my grips out on my CDP Ultra.

I don't know if this is the type of 2 tone you are looking for but who can pass up a chance to post pics of the kids, right?

Make it a 2 Tone. Mine was all black when I bought it. You could do a 2 toned parkerized gun or have it refinished in Cerakote.

See the sticky at http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=264029 More grip panels than you can imagine. Several makers belong to this forum and there's a lot of discussion about the popular brands.

There are also two other stickys for specific manufacturers.

Here's my SCU with a set of recently discontinued G-10s by Wilson Combat.

They have others available with the Starburst pattern.

And a Colt .38 Super by Gemini Customs wearing a pair of Tulipwood slabs I found by Tony Rist.
