-Heavy Bevel on bottom of slide
-Slide stop flush cut and hole beveled
-Shaping and fitting of the Smith & Alexander magwell
-New grips VZ Aliens black grey 10-8 thumb notch

First of all, I would like to say that I am very impressed with Rob and his crew at Alchemy Custom Weaponry. ACW met and exceeded my expectations of even some of the big name 1911 custom shops I’ve sent my other pistols to. From the beginning of the quote, to the time the pistol was back in my hands. Rob was around to answer every question and concern I had about my pistol. Most of all, he always went the extra mile and took care of the pistol like it was his own. This shows that ACW takes great pride in their work.

I was able to see this gun before Rob and Jim applied their skills to it. It really turned out fantastic! The grips are mesmerizing.

^^^^BMP98 that is a great looking 1911.

What finish is that? I am assuming blue, if so is it faded or did it come that way?

I am just a Springfield guy that comes to the Baer section of the forum to dream every once and a while. Starting to put my pennies away for a TRS.

Thanks again, guys. Intrepid, I believe our TRS's are closely related according to the serial #'s. That's pretty neat!

I gotta stay away from the les Baer section of the forum. I have a family to support and I know I shouldn't even consider an expensive pistol but I do whenever I see these fine examples!
