National Match barrel

Hi folks, I have a question that I hope to get a happy answer to. I recently picked up a early 70 series barrel w/finger collet and trigger from an early Gold Cup and would like to install it in my re-issue 70 series Government. The question is will it fit.

Depends on the hood width. Seems the GCs and NMs had narrow hoods and govts were wide hoods. If the hood width is the same it could be made to fit. Truman

The repro Series '70 guns use the narrow hood, so the barrel should fit.
