Ambi-Safety on a Coonan 357?

This might seem like a foolish question, but I am wondering does anyone here know if a 1911 ambidextrous safety is compatible with the Coonan 357? I would think yes myself, but having not seen one in person yet, I can't be sure. I'm considering ordering one, and being a southpaw shooter I need to have one for carrying a 1911 platform pistol. Thanks for any info.

Coonan thumb safeties/locks are a Colt compatible part, so an ambi safety can be fitted to a Coonan pistol.

Been a while since I've looked at the company site, there may be a list of interchangeable parts in the FAQ section.

Best,
