You have me beat. I would say they were both made in 91. I saw mine in a gun case in a uniform shop in early 92 (like February) before I purchased it.

I called Para, got a young lady on the phone, and gave her my serial number...She said mine was a "frame kit", and she didn't have info on "one that old". Then she told me that if she had to guess she would say an 09 model... I left the conversation confused.

I have a frame that I bought in about 85, maybe 86 at the latest. Had to buy an auto ordnance upper kit to complete. I took it to a Colt repair center (wouldn't be hard to determine who it was if I gave up the city, but won't) Knowing much more now than I did back then I don't think they used what I gave them but seriously feel there is a chance they used just used parts laying around from other repairs or upgrades to build this one. It just has the look and feel of something like that.
At any rate, my s/n is PH4xxx
I'm not understand how some other's reported with s/n ph005xxx are being said to be from the early 90's. I know I bought this in the mid 80's. without a doubt. Guess anything is possible but just thought I would throw it out there..

Called Para, my P13 #RN5117 estimated early '98. The dude I spoke with said the earliest he showed was a RN5165 dated at OCT '98.

We have an RN 57xx P13 from August 1995 on our list.

I'd say your P13 (and the other) was manufactured in early 1995.

That's not a bad thing, though.

P206XXX model PX1445, black P14-45 that appears to be like equipped like a later 'loaded' version but wasn't officially called a loaded yet. It has a factory STI trigger, beavertail, skeletonized hammer. Marked as Made in Canada and I was informed by the seller that it was made/acquired in early 2010 but I don't have any more specifics.

No serial numbers with PL appear on the list.

Please call Para toll free 888-999-9386 and ask for the manufacture date from that serial number.

Look at the list and see what's being accomplished.

Posting just the year is no help at all.
