New Para "Expert" 14 rd. .45 mags

I just got an email from Para USA offering these new mags for $24.95 each. Does anyone here know anything about them?

If they are an improvement over the standard mag, this is a good price and I will order some.

However, if it is an "economy model," I am not interested.

Their description does not help:

Save $10.00 each on our New HiCap EXPERT Magazines

We have recently introduced a new easy clean Expert Hi Capacity Magazine.

Retail price on the magazine is $34.95. But POA members can get them for $24.95 each when ordered in quantities of five or more. Hurry, this offer is only valid until September 15th, 2011 or while supplies last. When ordering enter coupon code:

You asked we listened!
BY SPECIAL REQUEST FROM ANOTHER POA MEMBER WE HAVE EXTENDED THIS OFFER TO INCLUDE THE PNMM45 MAGAZINES FOR P13 PISTOLS.

I have no idea what the difference is between the "Expert" mags and the original 14 rd mags that are still available from Para.

But it IS a 14 rd magazine that is compatible to all the 14 rd (and smaller) double stack pistols.

CDNN has been offering the 14 and 15 rd factory mags for a few years now at $24.99 so it's only been a matter of time until Para had to come down in price.

You don't have to buy 5 to get that price at CDNN and I'd recommend the 15 rd mag over the 14 rd mag. Makes the gun look tacti-cool with the extension.

Para did it once before in 2009 for a while, either 3 mags for $25 each or 5 mags for $25 each. I don't remember which, but I bought some then because it was free shipping (I think).

The P13 factory mags are $19.99 so the (big deal) discount from Para to $24.99 is a yawn.

Two weeks ago, CDNN had the P 13 mags for $14.99, but you could only buy 3 at that price.
