Colt Commando .45 ACP?

Anyone know anything about the Colt Commando 45 acp. Think there were only a few hundred made, sometime in the 90s?

Any value to them, good shooting etc?

Thanks

It's the first I've heard of these. I always think of a Colt Commando as the parkerized WWII-era .38 Special revolver issued to defense plant guards, etc. It's an interesting re-use of the name.

You're right on the revolver, apparently there a few 45 ACP Commandos as well. Never heard of them either - was on an auction that's closed. I'm lookin' but I want a full size. Either GB or Auction A. for the Commando, can't remember which;

if anyone is interested, maybe they will re-list.

Woops! Found it. FYI: (there were no bids the last run of this by the way)
