Searched Google for 1911 forums and came across this wonderful forum filled with valuable information. Haven't searched Google for any other 1911 forum ever since.

I found this site via another site I frequent all the time, once I saw how large this site is and that you have a whole section on just Ed Brown custom 1911's, I was hooked and I signed-up.

I really enjoy the picture threads.

Right now, the only pistol I have is a Glock but I'm starting to look for any "entry-level" 1911. Spent some time at the range yesterday with a friend who has an Ed Brown (ok, not really "entry-level" with my budget).

The title says it alll, I was reading up the 1911 for hints on maintenance, improvements and purchasing new ones (as if I need more, though one can never have too many now that I think about it) and I saw the forum and felt compelled to join!
