Colt Defender, Esmeralda Grips - Pic Heavy

The Colt Defender belongs to my youngest (adult) son. The piece sure is a looker so I thought I'd take a few photos this morning

450 rounds and no misfires, jams, ftf's or whatever else. Just flawless performance and head-turning good looks.

Colt Defender, Esmeralda grips, Bob Mernickle PS-2 IWB holster.

Awesome

Those grips are awesome and look great on that defender. I just got a set of Esmerelda grips (ivorywood-Thor's hammer)for my DW CBOB and I think they will look good too. Your piece makes me think about saving up for a set for my defender. I really like your piece. well done- john Scull

I can't think of a more appropriate icon to be placed on handgun grips than the Hammer of Thor. We might have gone with that had we found one on a lighter wood.

I have that same Esmeralda grip on my Defender, except for a slightly different design in the middle of the grip. I am still trying to decide if I like the Ivory wood(tan) on an all Stainless gun. Yours looks very nice, so maybe I should just stay with what I bought for mine.

Very Nice Esmeralda Grips on your Colt Defender. How long did it take you to get them?

Very cute!

My firs thought was the Esmarelda's have kind of transformed the gun.

First time the first thought into my head was "Cute!"
